Foundation Stone of Suresh Dey Memorial Market Laid at Dhupguri Today

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 14th April, 2017: The tourism minister of West Bengal Mr. Gautam Deb today laid the foundation stone for the revamping of the dilapidated Suresh Dey Memorial Market Complex here in Dhupguri. In the new building as proposed, a two-story complex will be constructed in which at least 152 shops will be on offer to the businessmen. The Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad has sanctioned a sum of Rs. 9 Crore 33 lakh 10 thousand and 895 Rupees for the project. In this connection, the business community of Dhupguri was so thrilled that they hired band party for taking Minister Gautam Deb to the program venue. According to the sources of Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad, it is said that apart from the shops there be more construction of a concrete road, 180 meters of drainage system will also be done. Mr. Deb was also visibly pleased by the outcome.
